This is a page dedicated to Amber, the cat that we were supposed to adopt. Here, I will post pictures of her, and my whole story on her.
THE WHOLE CAT HUNT

On A ‘Cat Hunt’
Hey everyone! Friends, peeps, other peeps. As you read on the previous post, I am getting a kitten really soon. Well today we went to an animal hospital to look at their kittens, but there were 15 of them all running around in a small room, and one started stretching up and clawing my mom, [lawl] so there was no look there. We had to leave right away. Our local Petsmart are getting kittens in tomorrow or Friday, so we are going to go there to check them out.
We already have a big cage, a littler box, a bed, cat cleaning supplies, a cat carrier, and I think that is it.
I hope we get one soon!

The Cat Hunt Continued…
Well, still no luck with cats. We went to three more places. A person’s house who has cats up for adoption, and two Petsmarts. They both had kittens, but at the one Petsmart, their kittens had fleas and worms. Poor kittens. Anyway, I did meet a cat that I liked, but it was a year old and my parents prefer we get a kitten. His name was Toughie, but it said he isn’t really that tough. He had a big happy face and his smile was so huge. I let him sniff my finger, and he liked me. Sadly though, no Toughie.
Oh, well. Life goes on. We are going to look at two kittens tomorrow at an animal hospital, so maybe we will find some luck there.
Bye-Bee!!! :3

Updated January 7th
I got a photo of Toughie from off line!!! Here it is:

HE’S SO CUTE!!! :3 [-: I wish we could adopt him... I keep bugging my parents about it, but I know its not doing any good. They have already had it with looking for kittens...(I like older cats, not kittens, and Toughie is a year old... I just can't seem to convince my parents into letting me get an older cat >:-( :-S )

The Cat Hunt Continues, Near a Conclusion
Well, the cat hunt may come to a concluding end, finally after a full month now. We may be getting a 2 year old cat named Amber. She is a calico who is extremely nice, and a little on the short side. She also has a split nose [half black half pink] and has a slight leg condition. When she was a stray, she had gotten an injury to her back right leg which didn’t heal properly, so now sometimes she walks with a little limp. The decision is still pending on whether my parents will let me get her or not. I told them I would pay the adoption fee, because I would. It’s $80.00, but it used to be $60.00. Lets hope it comes out to a ‘Yes’, and before someone else adopts her.
EEEP!
Bye-Bee!!

Cat Hunt: SOOOO CLOSE! to a Conclusional End
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! I’m overly excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are 91.7% sure that we are adopting Amber, the calico who I posted about in the previous post, and they even put an ‘Adoption Pending’ sign on her cage so no one else can take her!!! YAYZ!!! Anyways, We might get her Friday, or Saturday of next week, and a slight chance not at all.
I have to get blood work done tomorrow though to see if I’m allergic to cats though, which I am not to enthusiastic about… “BLOODY MURDER!!!” Owwy, owwy, ow. Sooo, ya. It’s just to see if I”m allergic to cats, to come to a conclusion on whether Amber (Or maybe not Amber; YEAH RIGHT!!!) can stay in my room or not.
BYE-BEE!!!!

This is a picture of Sweety Little Amber. The red circle indicates her extra toe she has. All of her kittens also had an extra toe, which I saw her kittens, and there extra toe. Anyway, the blue circle indicates the leg that had been injured a while back, which gives her the slightest limp, but no pain. I know you can’t see her eyes, but they are sort of a cross between green and copper. She also has a split nose; black on the right, and pink on the left, which I LOVE split nosed cats.
THE HEART IN THAT PICTURE, I THREW THAT IN THERE.

An Upsetting End
Well, it turns out we can’t get Amber, and I’m thrown into tears. We just got a phone call from the person who does the adoptions at our local Petsmart where Amber is, saying that they had just discovered that she has diabetes, so now we can’t get her, because she has to have two shots a day for the rest of her life.
Some specialized person [Sort of like a veterinarian kinda personish thingy who knows how to give cats shots and has a soft spot for diabetic cats] is going to take her. I really wish that she never had had diabetes, because I cannot control myself anymore and I am never looking at another cat AGAIN. I can’t even bring myself together to say good-bye to her at Petsmart, even though I really want to, and my mom even asked me if I wanted to see her again, but I said no.
I don’t want her to leave.
It’s just to sad.
I might delete the Cat Lover’s page for good now because of this. And Gina215953, Speedy is included in this. Don’t mention him at all at school, and I mean it.
NEW SITE RULE: NO ONE is aloud to speak about cats or else they are BANNED. Not even on the Cat Lover’s page.

If you don’t want to leave a comment, that’s fine. I don’t need any comforting anyway.

AMBER ALERT!!! (Literally)
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMFG OMG OMG OMG OMG; OH MY GAWD!!!
AMBER IS BACK AT PETSMART!!! HOLY CRAP SHE’S BACK!!!
I’M FLOATING!!! [LAWLAWLAWL! I'm so dumb :-p]
Ok, Here’s how it went.
I woke up today at 9 to get ready to work today. Blah blah blah… We get there, and I go in the back of Petsmart and load the cart. [The cat has the stuff on it, including CrapScoopers, trash bags, towels, clean litter, ect.] I bring it back, and the manager opened the door to the cat room. I walk in. Oh. My. Gawd. I see Amber, laying down in her bed. She is SOOO MUCH more healthier than before!!! She gained some weight, and her eyes aren’t droopy anymore. What happened was, they were giving her so little of the insulin, that they stopped. They took her to the vet, and got her blood sugar checked. BAM! Now the Little Angel, Amber, is back at Petsmart. I think she recognized me, because:
We let someone into the room to have them look at the cats and when she wanted to pet Amber, she didn’t come up to her hand. When I crouched down in front of her cage, she came right up to me! She remembers me! And, without a doubt, of course I remember her! She is now 3 years old, I didn’t know when her birthday was. Oh, well. I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE HER AGAIN!! SECOND CHANCES FOR AMBER, SECOND CHANCES!!!
BYE-BEE!!!

And that was the end. Sad story, huh? Wanna hear the real scoop on Amber?
Well, A while back in the beginning of December, our local Petsmart had gotten in Amber. I had first met her while I was volunteering, December 7. That day, I knew that Amber and I had a special bond. I petted her, and she didn’t mind at all. When I had gotten home that night from volunteering, I told my mom all about Amber. I also told her that I wanted her, but back then I couldn’t get a cat. Then Christmas roles around, and my parents tell me that I can get a kitten [notice, KITTEN for Christmas. Now, I really dislike kittens a lot, so whenever we went and looked at them, I always said "I'm not getting a dumb kitten". I still wanted Amber. All of January, I kept bugging my parents to let me get her. Then they had finally came to a conclusion, and they said we could adopt Amber. Now after that I had to have blood take taken January 31 for allergies [Even though I already know I'm not allergic to cats] to see if she could stay in my room our not. It was torture. Then, Sunday rolled by, the 3rd. Around 2:45, we got a phone call from the lady who does adoptions at our local Petsmart where Amber is with the bad news. They had taken Amber to the vet, and found out that she has diabetes. So now we cannot get her. I don’t want anyone else to take her away from me, even though they are gonna have to so she can get a home to someone who can treat her with the needles everyday. When she gets adopted, I want to give her my special collar I had bought just for her before we adopted her, and I want the adopters address, so I can visit her. Now, the day after that I went to visit Amber. She was traumatized. She was curled up in the corner of her cage in her [I don't know what it's called, but I will show you a picture of it] with her eyes bugged wide open, staring. Now I knew this was because of the shots she had to get, and that she wasn’t quite happy with them. So I went in the little room and was looking at her for a few minutes. I wanted to pet her, but she was laying on her side, which is when they bite. So after that, I was ‘forced’ by the volunteer to pet her. By my surprise, she tried to bite me. I knew it was only because she had shots that day, and I forgive her right away. [In my mind] My eyes filled with tears, and the volunteer was trying to get me interested in other cats, but my heart will stay with Amber forever. After that, we left and came home. To this day, I don’t want ANYONE to take her. She is my little baby, and if anyone takes her, I will steal her from Petsmart the day before she gets taken away from me. Everyday I cry about her. I don’t want anyone to take her away. I want to go back there and get a picture with her, so I will always have a memory of her. I know that sounds very weird, but she’s my little kitty! [July 12 Edit] And now she is back!! She is lots healthier, and happier! Long live AMBER!!!
Here are some pictures of her.

This is Amber’s face. In this picture, she is tired. She does NOT have a scowl on her face like that. She normally has big happy eyes, and she has a very happy and friendly personality.

This is a picture of her fully. See that kinda cubby-ish thing in the background? That’s the thing I was talking about, when she was curled up in it that is what she sleeps in. Torture, huh?
Amber is 2 year old, female calico. She has green-copper eyes, and long whiskers. She also has a split nose. Black on the right, pink on the left. She also has an extra toe which you can see in the picture, and all of her kittens had that too. I saw her kittens, so I saw their extra toe too. Her back right leg is a little, ‘not normal’. [I'm trying to put it as nice as I can!] When she was a stray, it had gotten broken, and never healed properly, so now she has the teeniest limp which you can’t notice, and the good thing is it gives her no pain. The bad part is she has diabetes. She will need two shots everyday for the rest of her life. SHE’S MY BEST FRIEND, AND THE ONLY CAT THAT LIVES IN MY HEART.
